MARCIO Lassiter was proud to show off other facets of his game in San Miguel’s 110-88 win over Phoenix last Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Known primarily as a scorer, Lassiter showed that he can fill up the stat sheet as well by grabbing nine rebounds, dishing out six assists and blocking three shots to go along with his 15 points.
The sweet-shooting wingman’s athleticism also came on display when he went high up to block a shot by 6-9 import Jameel McKay in the eighth-minute mark of the third period.
Later, Lassiter couldn’t hide his excitement when talking about that play.
“It was cool, man. It’s kinda cool to get up there every once in a while,” said Lassiter, one of the deadliest three-point marksmen in the pro league today.
“Not too many people know I can jump so, those blocks kinda vindicated that I can get up there and jump with the best of them,” said Lassiter.
“I dont jump maybe as high as them but I know I can jump above the rim. I just timed it well,” he added.
