MANILA, Philippines — The San Miguel Beermen have been enjoying their 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup stint so far.
It showed against Meralco last week, and again versus Phoenix.
Only this time, it was evident after the game. And oh—far from the eyes of spectators.

“Si Arwind (Santos) ‘yun,” said head coach Leo Austria on the laid-back vibe emanating from the Beermen’s dugout. The Beermen have just dismantled the Fuelmasters with ease 110-88, to cap Friday night’s PBA skirmish at the Mall of Asia, 110-88.
“Siyempre nakadalawang panalo na kami. Ang ganda ng nangyayari kahit di pa ganun kakundisyon ang maganda rito nananalo kami,” Santos shared. “Panahon pa to ni coach Ato (Agustin).”
“Nagchampion kami noong , kaya lang nung pumasok si (Rajko) Toroman, nag-iba yung mundo,” he recalled with a smile. “Ayaw ng music.”
“Binabalik lang namin talaga. Nakakarelax naman talaga ang music eh,” the versatile wingman said. “Lagi naman [ito], dati pa.”
