The 2017 Philippine Cup Finals is officially lit.
After an instant classic at Lucena City for Game 2, the best-of-7 series between two-time defending champion San Miguel Beer and Brgy. Ginebra is back in the big city for Game 3 with a crucial 2-1 lead hanging in the balance.
Following Ginebra’s epic overtime victory to tie the count at one each, the Gin Kings look to ride the momentum to challenge the Beermen even further.
However, after a physically-draining contest, one has to wonder just how much gas is left in the Ginebra tank considering Joe Devance is playing hurt and Scottie Thompson admitted to being exhausted after Sunday’s game.
Meanwhile, the Beermen are out to bounce back after failing to complete a historic comeback in Lucena City.
San Miguel is also kinda fresh as three starters failed to finish Game 2 for one reason or another.
Game 3 will tipoff at 7:00 p.m. live from the Araneta Coliseum.
